Bollywood actor Mandira Bedi has copied Ellen DeGeneres Oscar group selfie at a bollywood events in Mumbai on Monday. The picture Mandira posted on social micro-blogging site Twitter included Shah Rukh Khan and filmmakers Kunal Kohli and Punit Malhotra among others.

The occasion was a bollywood parties and events for the unveiling of a watch which is endorsed by Shah Rukh Khan. Mandira tweeted, "We had our own selfie moment."

Kareena Kapoor named as Brand Ambassador for Naturals Salon Chain

 Actress Kareena Kapoor who is one of the latest bollywood models has replaced Genelia D'Souza as the brand ambassador of Naturals hair and beauty salon chain. The salon, which has a strong foothold down south, is keen to expand in places like Delhi, Punjab, Maharashtra and Gujarat.

C.K. Kumaravel, CEO and co-Founder Naturals hair and beauty salon chain said: “Genelia helped us to move business from 80 salons to 340 salons. Now, Kareena will take forward from 341 to 3000. She will be the face of Naturals. We have a two-year contract. We have thought of bringing her for bollywood events like Durga Puja or Valentine’s Day. The latter is around the corner, so maybe next year. Greet and meet contest is another thought.”

Currently, the brand is present in areas like Ghaziabad, Janakpuri and Dwarka in Delhi. Work is happening in Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh. Delhi will see 20-25 Naturals salons by year end.

Shah Rukh Khan: Realised The Truth of Life Through Bandages

Latest Bollywood Events: A recent injury on the sets of Happy New Year has left Shah Rukh Khan "strapped around the joints". The superstar has compared his illness to his philosophy of life.

"Been strapped around the joints last few days. Realised the truth of life through bandages. Not too tight not too loose, keeps it comfortable," Shah Rukh Khan posted on his microblogging site Twitter on Wednesday.

However, for the actor, the "Not too tight not too loose" philosophy doesn't apply to hugs from his children.

"The not too loose or tight philosophy of life doesn't apply to these hugs. These ones tighter the better," he posted with a picture of him hugging his son Aryan and daughter Suhana.

Happy New Year is being directed by Farah Khan and is all set to release this Diwali. The film also features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah among others.

Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor to co-host 59th Filmfare awards

 
Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra will co-host the 59th Filmfare awards, and the 'desi' girl says she is nervous. "Filmfare awards is an experience in itself. This is the first time that I will be co-hosting the awards, I am very nervous," the 31-year-old said here Monday at a press conference for the forthcoming event.

As part of their anchoring, the two actors will present the forthcoming of Indian cinema in a fun way at the awards ceremony. "I have not done it much, but Ranbir and I have been working very hard to make sure it will be lot of fun to show you the upcoming of what we think cinema should be, which will obviously be a little mad and lots of fun. So, it's going to be a really exciting time," Priyanka said.

This is Priyanka's first stint at hosting the prestigious awards and she is feeling the pressure considering the standard set by other actors in previous editions.

"Very few girls have hosted the awards. But yes, there is a vast pressure because Filmfare as an event has always been entertaining, funny and there has been a standard set by a lot of people, including Ranbir himself," Priyanka said.

"Whether it is Shah Rukh (Khan), Saif (Ali Khan), Ranbir, Imran (Khan)... so many people who have hosted the show, they have always set the standard. So, it is scary and exciting," she added.

The 59th edition of the Filmfare awards will be held Jan 24 at Yash Raj Films studio.

Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya back from Dubai holiday

Aaradhya Bachchan has been a common flyer. She was clicked at the airport returning from Dubai holiday with parents and actors Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan. Ash, Abhi and Aaradhya celebrated New Year in Dubai and they had a great fun.

"Back home, back to work, thank you one and only Dubai for such a memorable New Year," Abhishek tweeted Monday.

Aishwarya was carrying Aaradhya and Abhi is leading them. Married in 2007, the couple welcomed their first child in November 2011. Abhishek had a great 2013. His film, ‘Dhoom 3’ crossed 300 crore and currenty he is shooting Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ starring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Boman Irani.

Abhishek recently tweeted that Aishwarya is yet to watch ‘Dhoom 3’ but his parents Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan watched the film and they appreciated his work and the film.

Bachchan has been spending New Year with his family and tried a game of Jet Ski along with his grandchildren. Amitabh Bachchan, 71 years old, has three grandchildren – Agastya and Navya Naveli, children of his daughter Shweta and Aaradhya, daughter of his son, Abhishek. On December 31st, Amitabh Bachchan posted on Twitter ‘The Panama... the sea... and after getting beat on Jet Ski by grandchildren.’

The tweet was read by SRK who in turn invited Bachchan for a friendly game of FIFA. Shah Rukh Khan loves playing the video game version of FIFA with his children and invited him over as he said he is tired of being ‘beaten at all his games’ by his kids. Shah Rukh Khan is married to Gauri Khan and has three children, son Aryan, daughter Suhana and a surrogate child, AbRam. SRK tweeted on December 31, 2013 ‘Sir, take out time tomorrow (January 1)... let’s do a little FIFA... I am also tired of being beaten at all games by kids since last few days.’

Amitabh Bachchan may be 71 years old, but that does not prevent him from relishing video games. He once joined his son Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan while they were playing a round of football on Playstation during their shooting agenda. Bachchan had gone to pick up Abhishek who was shooting in Mehboob Studio for the movie, ‘Happy New Year’, directed by Farah Khan. On reaching there, he saw the two absorbed in a game of football on Playstation 4 (PS4). He later posted on his blog ‘These people are not interested in work. Sitting in the comfort of Shah Rukh Khan’s vanity van and immersed in a PS4 game of football, they take their own time to come out, until I have to barge in and well also get immersed in the game.’

Shah Rukh Khan is an avid gamer and deceptively spends a lot on video games and playing them. One of his favourite games is ‘Arkham Origins’ based on the Gotham superhero Batman. He had posted on Twitter ‘Arkham Origins... the boys and me are going to own you. Nothing like a good video game to make you feel worthy!’
